Award-winning post-production house Nomad has announced the promotion of Tommy Palumbo to its roster of editors.
Known for pushing creative boundaries, Palumbo draws inspiration from cinematic masters and modern visual culture to craft stories that feel emotionally resonant and cinematically bold.
Drawn to the edit suite by a desire to shape narratives from the inside out, Palumbo’s work balances technical craft with artistic vision. His editorial style is marked by a contemporary rhythm and emotional precision, rooted in an understanding of visual storytelling across formats, from television and social content to branded films and music videos.
“Over the years, I’ve observed that true success in this industry comes from a combination of creativity and natural aptitude,” says Jai Shukla, Partner and Editor at Nomad. “Tommy has both. I’m looking forward to his continued growth and success as an editor.”
Recent highlights from Palumbo’s reel include a high-profile Mercedes-Benz campaign that premiered during the U.S. Masters Tournament, as well as energetic, action-driven work for SEC, MLB, GMC, and Freshpet. In the music world, he recently edited Grace VanderWaal’s Babydoll featuring Aliyah’s Interlude.
“Through collaborative partnerships, I strive to bring creative visions to life and forge meaningful connections with audiences,” says Palumbo. “I believe in the importance of constant evolution, always seeking new techniques and perspectives to refine my craft. I’m incredibly proud of the work I’ve done at Nomad and grateful for the mentorship and support that’s shaped my journey so far. This next chapter is deeply exciting.”

He’s always asking ‘what if?’ and finding innovative solutions to deliver impactful stories that meet our clients’ needs. His passion and problem-solving skills make him an invaluable part of the Nomad family, and we’re thrilled to have him officially on the editorial roster.”
