Slovak Telekom’s fright in plain sight
A fun spot from the mobile network provider riffs on the idea that the scariest things in life aren’t sharks or spiders, but the everyday horrors we’d rather not face.

Created by MUW Saatchi & Saatchi and directed by Marek Partys through Protos Productions, this playful campaign from mobile network provider Slovak Telecom pokes fun at the irrational nature of human fears.
The film, set in an exotic pet shop, sees a brave man reaching in for a forbidden touch of a lethal spider – only to reveal the real danger is the shopkeeper mindlessly tapping away at his phone, losing money on online bets.
The initiative leans into the idea that while most people are scared of sharks or spiders, something much smaller and more ordinary can sting us harder than we think.
