It looks like a clip of Gene Kelly’s famous Singing In The Rain routine, but just as you prepare yourself for a classic sing along, the soundtrack acquires a breakbeat, and said Mr Kelly begins body-popping and break dancing. Clever effects superimpose old Gene’s face on the new dancer’s head, too, culminating in a flip and a tip of the hat to VW’s revamped hot hatch. The new Golf GTI: The original, updated.
