John Smith's: Monsters

Part of a marvellous campaign promoting John Smith's bitter, starring comedian Peter Kay. In the first advert, Kay receives a phone call from his daughter while sitting in an Indian restaurant. Having reassured her that there is no such thing as wardrobe monsters, he tells her to focus her fear on the more realistic threat of burglars. In the second advert, a series of Olympic athletes demonstrate perfect diving skills, only to be ruthlessly beaten when Kay, representing Britain, aces the contest with a flawless cannonball. No nonsense.
