As our eyes adjust to the darkness, dancing lights and flashes of colour reveal what appears to be the interior of an abandoned subway carriage at night. As shapes become half-recognisable as seats an almost imperceptible shift occurs and the windows morph into the illuminated buttons of a cell phone. No sooner have our eyes focused on the cityscape on the phone's screen than the panorama fills the shot. As the various districts light up one by one, the image is back on the phone screen again and we've returned to the inside of the train compartment just in time to see it emerging from a tunnel.
