Honda: Cog

A complicated set piece, shot in one long take, as parts of the new Honda click against one another, each movement triggering the next. Wheels roll into each other, windscreen wipers stalk across the floor and the suspension system vibrates to the beat of a disco track. The camera tracks the progress of the car parts, before pulling in on the vehicle itself as it rolls over a trigger causing a banner to unfurl, displaying the Honda logo. The voiceover intones: Isn’t it nice when things just work? Honda: the power of dreams.
