Wayne Isham's reel showed mass appeal last night when he was voted MTV viewers’ all time best video director.
Isham, who directs through A Band Apart, Los Angeles, has directed over 150 music videos in his career for artists ranging from Madonna to Janet and Michael Jackson and *NSYNC.
His promo for the boy band’s single, Pop, has picked up a number of nominations for this year’s MTV Video Awards.
The viewer’s choice prize was awarded at a ceremony, MTV 20: Live and Almost Legal, celebrating the network's 20th birthday. A Band Apart, founded in 1995, has grown to represent some of the most heavily featured directors on MTV.
