The winners of this year's CADS Music Vision Awards have been announced, with rising star Dougal Wilson walking away with the Best Video Director award.
It has been a good year for Wilson, who has received much acclaim for his videos for Chikinki (shots #80), The Streets (shots #83), and Benny Benassi's Satisfaction (shots #81), which also won the Best Dance Video at the CADS.
The Video of the Year award this year went to Jake Nava for his much-applauded video for Beyonce's Crazy in Love, which also won the Best Urban Video award. Best Pop Video this time went to Baillie Walsh for Kylie's Slow, while Alex & Martin added yet another award to their already sagging shelf for their Seven Nation Army promo for The White Stripes, which took the Best Rock Video award.
Other notable winners were Shynola, who won Best Animation for their Eye for an Eye video for Unkle; Bryan Barber, who took the Best International Video for Outkast's Hey Ya; and Richard Skinner of East West, who won Best Video Commissioner.
