Thomas Winter Cooke, based in Santa Monica, has signed UK directors Martin Brierley, Elliot Hegarty and Seamus Masterson for exclusive US representation. More info on the directors is at http://www.thomaswintercooke.com.

Darek Zatorski has joined JWT as executive creative director of JWT Poland and Eastern Europe. Zatorski joins the agency from Leo Burnett in Warsaw where he has been creative director since 1999.

Maverick duo Lee and Dan, the team behind the controversial fake Polo ad featuring a suicide bomber, have joined ad agency Quiet Storm. The team are also repped by Quad in the UK and Czar in the US for directing work.

Global creative agency Attik has re-opened an office in New York. The agency was previously forced to close its New York office as a result of the post-9/11 economic downturn, but continued success in its UK and San Francisco offices has signalled its return to the city. Postproduction house VTR in London has made three new hirings. Flame artist Lyndon Gaul, formerly of Red and USL; exec producer Rebekah Hay, previously at Red, Framestore CFC and Smoke & Mirrors; and TK operator Kai Van Beers, formerly at The Mill, all join the company.

Los Angeles-based ad agency davidandgoliath has hired a new creative team. Copywriter Erik Fahrenkopf and art director Anthony DeCarolis join the agency from Deutsch/Los Angeles.

Janine Bottazzi has been promoted to producer at visual effects and animation studio Guava in New York. Bottazzi has been with the company since 2002.
