The team that pioneered Beam.tv's technology, Matt Cooper, Ben Smith, Daniel Hearn and Stuart Peters have left the company to set up a digital asset management system based on the Imagevault technology currently being used by Ogilvy & Mather in London.
The Sweet Shop in Auckland has added two new directors to its roster. The company will now rep UK director Andy Lambert in the US, Australasia and Europe, excluding the UK, and Michael Wong globally. Lambert continues to be repped by Blink in the UK and Wong by Bistro Films in Prague.
New Moon in London has signed SFX director Justin Klarenbeck. Klarenbeck is already in production with the company on a campaign through TBWA.
Saville Productions in LA has signed New Zealand features directors Christopher Noonan and Vincent Ward for US representation.
Production company The Joneses in LA has signed Zosimo Maximo, director of MTV series Room Raiders, for exclusive commercials representation. Maximo has already completed his first campaign through the company, for Ford through JWT's Miami-based agency Burson-Marsteller.
Film director Desmond Ng has signed to Passion Pictures in Kuala Lumpar for exclusive representation in South-East Asia. Ng joins directors Jamie Quah, Brad Hogarth, Simont Phang, Agus Makkie and Lance on the Passion roster.
