Godman director Ben Sedley has produced a racy little viral for the (now) legal music download company Napster.
A shutter slides opens in a strip joint and we see a leggy blonde sitting dressed on a revolving podium. As a remix of Cream's classic song Sunshine Of Your Love kicks in, the blonde flies into stripping action, quickly getting down to a bra and knickers that she slowly begins to lower before... the music stops, as does she. '30-second previews - leave you wanting more? At Napster you get the whole thing', says the tagline.
The idea was dreamed up by Drugstore, the creative collective founded last October by ex-Lowe and Mother staffers Marc Cave, Russ Schaller & Ben Clapp. Launching today it will then move onto selected UK music TV channels in the near future.
"Scripts like this don't come along often and it didn't take long to work out that it had the potential to be a real attention-grabber," said Sedley of the viral, "The real work was in the finer details: getting the tone right and steering clear of cliches. Selecting the dancer was clearly an arduous task for all involved! All the girls in the casting were great but Frankie had just the right contrast between girl-next-door and raunchy temptress."
