Moves this week at Partizan, Yellowhouse, Blink , Rushes and Firstborn Multimedia

Screenwriter Paul Fraser has joined Partizan London to direct music videos. Fraser is best known for his collaborations with features director Shane Meadows, for whom he wrote A Room For Romeo Brass, but recently wrapped his directing debut with a video for indie phenomenon the Arctic Monkeys and their tune When The Sun Goes Down.

Parisian production company Yellowhouse has signed three new directors for the European market. Australian Nash Edgerton has shot short films as well as a promo for Sleepy Jackson and commercials for Just Jeans; directing team Three Legged Legs from Los Angeles have shot three short films; and Team Daddy from Dublin have shot music videos for Naphi and The Chalets, as well as spots for O2 and the Digital Film Festival.

Director and cameraman Gillean Proctor has joined Blink Pictures in Canada. Initially a photographer, Proctor moved to Toronto in the 1976, becoming a director and co-founding The Director's Film Company there. He joined The Artist's Company in New York in the 80s.

Following news last week of Rushes' expansion, the post house has hired senior colourist Simone Grattarola for its telecine department. Grattarola began his career at Rushes in 1994, leaving to join Red and then One Post. Recent credits include Sony PlayStation, Coca-Cola, Volvo and XFM, as well as promos for James Blunt, Goldfrapp, Keane and Charlotte Church, and broadcast work for Channel 4's Ancient Egyptians.

Firstborn Multimedia has added Tamara Zimmerman to its ranks. Zimmerman joins the interactive design company as creative director for the company's new studio and offices in Los Angeles. She previously served as founder, creative director and interactive graphic designer of Loyal in Los Angeles, where her clients included Target, Hallmark and National Television.
