Draw Pictures has expanded its offering by launching an animation operation and by branching into commercials.

The company has launched Dirty UK, an animation collective and studio, as a standalone animation and editing company and has taken on Colette Crespin to represent its directors for commercials.

Executive producer Patrick Holtkamp commented: "We think that there is room for a new dedicated and creative shop in town which can offer directors who are very good at delivering a creative and innovative film at very tight budgets and deadlines. That's why we decided to hire a commercial rep to take Draw's existing roster into the commercials world. We are also looking for commercials directors to come on board."

Draw Pictures launched last January and has so far already worked on over 80 projects. Two of the company's directors, Goodtimes and Lee Lennox, were nominated at last year's CADS. The rest of the roster comprises Rupert Jones, Caswell Coggins, Uli Myer (animation), Shelly Love and Pablo Ros.

The company has just expanded its roster by signing director Stuart Fryer. He was formerly with Bikini after coming to prominence on the back of shooting Lee & Dan's controversial suicide bomber viral. Before Bikini Fryer was at alternative advertising agency Cunning.
