Michael Folino, former chief creative officer of DDB Chicago, has joined Wieden + Kennedy Portland as a creative director on its Nike account. Folino joined DDB just eight months ago from Dailey & Associates in Los Angeles where he was chief creative officer, following on from stints at TBWAChiatDay and Wieden + Kennedy.
Bikini Films has signed a brace of new directors for the UK market. Evan Bernard comes to the company from Pagan and has shot for Footlocker, Reebok, Puma and PlayStation as well as music videos for Beastie Boys, Soulwax and Robert Post. He is repped by Chelsea Pictures in the US. The second signing is newcomer Mark Wordsworth, who studied at the Northern Film School and has shot four promos for local Leeds band 4 Day Hombre.
Jeff Johnson, formerly president and chief executive officer of WestWayne, has been appointed managing director of Cramer-Krasselt/Hampel Stefanides, the New York office of Chicago-based Cramer-Krasselt.
BeachHouse Films, Santa Monica, has signed visual FX/live action director Noel Castley-Wright. Before branching into directing spots, he was the FX supervisor at Company 3 where his work won numerous awards. Before retuning to live in Los Angeles, Castley-Wright directed a three-spot package for Ikea out of his Sydney-based production company Oxygen Pictures.
Sophie Gunn has joined MPC as a commercials post producer. She comes to MPC from United London where she worked her way up from PA to TV producer in six years. While at HHCL/United she worked on a variety of brands, including Pot Noodle, Iceland, Sky and Birdseye.
