Moves this week at Nexus, Curious Pictures, Knucklehead, Nola Pictures, Grand Large, Millennium Pictures, Trollbäck + Company, Taxi, AvatarLabs, Idealogue, W+K, BDHTBWA, Nice Biscuits

Nexus has signed director Chris Waitt for commercials and music video representation. Waitt's BBC puppet series Fur TV won a BBC Greenlight Award, Best International Comedy at the Cologne Conference and a prestigious Golden Rose at Montreux as well as a nomination for the shots Evolution awards in Kinsale this year. Waitt recently shot his first idents for Vodafone, the adventures of the Static Dolls, a rock band made up of mannequins.

Curious Pictures New York has signed directing team Inner Circle Collective which consists of directors Dennis Go and Kevin Robinson. Go and Robinson met while working together at motion-graphics and live-action production company Brand New School, where they worked on projects for clients such as Sharwoods, Mudd Jeans, Nike/Foot Locker and Internaxx. Go was a director, designer and art director at the shop, while Robinson was an animator and 3-D director.

Knucklehead has signed directing duo Zak and Dan for worldwide commercials representation. The pair were previously represented through Stink and are best known for their work on Toyota, M&S, Expedia, The Telegraph, Playstation and Maltesers.

Live-action production company Nola Pictures has signed director Claudio Droguett. Chilean born Droguett started as a producer with BBDO/NY, moving into directing - shooting campaigns for brands including Dupont, GE, Lever, Pepsi, Polaroid and Visa and then documentaries for clients including Bill Blass, IBM, John Bartlett, Ralph Lauren, Time Warner, Vogue, W Magazine and Warner Bros.

International promo and commercials production company Grand Large has signed Australian commercials director Tracey Rowe for the US and Europe. Rowe, who started her career as a stills photographer, currently directs in Australia through Silverscreen Productions. She has shot for Kelloggs, National Bank of Australia, Panadol and Amcal among others.

Automotive director/photographer Tim Damon has joined Millennium Pictures for exclusive US representation. Damon, who has shot for brands including Chevy, Porsche, Mercedes, made the move after years spent directing through his own company, Damon Productions. He will continue to shoot his print projects through that company.

Creative studio Trollbäck + Company has taken on Aimee Przybylski as executive producer. Przybylski comes most recently from Fuel, where she served as executive producer but before that set up Logan.

Taxi New York has hired Tom Christmann as creative director. Christmann comes to the agency from BBDO/New York, where he spent three years, during which time he worked on the "It" campaign for online auction site eBay, as well as FedEx, Red Stripe and Guinness.

Full-service motion graphics and online design studio for the entertainment industry AvatarLabs has named Laura Primack as an "avatarian maximus", its term for a hybrid of senior art director and producer.

New York new media agency Idealogue, the agency behind the adicolor films, has signed up with Michael Arkin's Reprizent for representation on the East Coast.

Neil Thomson, a founding director of St Lukes, has joined Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam as finance and operations director. He takes over from Ted Nelson, who has moved to the US to become financial director of the Portland office.

Robert Harwood-Matthews has been appointed as chief executive of BDHTBWA. He replaces former chief executive, Neil Griffiths, as head of the Manchester-based agency. Harwood-Matthews was previously client service director with TBWALondon, having joined the agency as partner in 2002. Harwood-Matthews will be replaced as client service director by Suzie Shaw, currently new business director with TBWALondon.
