MOO Studios in LA sign director Martin Fougerol for representation in the US and UK. French born Fougerol, joins from Partizan, and has shot promos for the White Stripes, U2 and Franz Ferdinand, as well as commercials for Dyson and Sony.
Production House TV Dinner in Stockholm signs Eric Widerdal. The young director recently shot a series of films in the US on how the country might be in the future if Barack Obama doesn't win the upcoming election.
Hot Cherry, the London-based digital marketing company, appoints James Booth as non-executive director. Booth was formerly the CEO and co-founder of digital marketing technology specialists Tangozebra. He joins the Hot Cherry team to work on brands including Sony PSP, Channel 4, E4, Microsoft and Ford.
Digital creative agency Perfect Fools announces Jason Koxvold will become the first creative director at the agency's New York office. Koxvold arrives from his role as creative director at Draftfcb New York, and prior to this he was senior art director at Ogilvy San Francisco. He has worked on campaigns for Microsoft, Motorola, and Toyota, and will head up creative development for all USA clients at Perfect Fools.
Mintz & Hoke Communications in Avon, Connecticut, hires Jonathan Smirnoff as a copywriter. He joins from Viewpoint Creative in Boston, where he worked for clients including Discovery Channel, HBO, and Disney. He will now focus on some of Mintz & Hoke's key accounts, including Quinnipiac University, Praxair and BMW of Bridgeport.
London-based graphics facility Fluid Pictures hires Michael Illingworth as senior flame artist. With 13 years experience, he joins from Vine Post, and has worked on the features Gladiator and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as many commercials.
Elias Arts in New York, the music composition, strategy and production collective, welcomes aboard Mike Pandolfo as creative director, composer and general manager. He joins the company's multi-cultural division, Avenida Acceso, and leaves his position as MD and creative director at Wonderful. Pandolfo has composed for the likes of Mercedes, Reebok and Bacardi.
