Today it's the turn of Annex Films' director's rep and head of new business, Ali Lindsay, to impart her pearls of Cannes wisdom.
· Eat well before departure, it could well be your last decent meal for a while...
· Pace yourself. It's a long week, if you know you have a tendency to get over excited then join the jet-set and fly in for a night or two only - your liver will thank you.
· Good manners cost nothing, do be gracious and thank your hosts where possible.
· It is ok to bring accessories to pool parties; every clown has a silver lilo, maybe leave the yellow budgie smugglers at home though.
· Wear oversized sunglasses, smile and pretend it never happened.
· A quote from Buddha: "It is better to travel well than to arrive".
