Buster, a conceptual, motion graphics design studio, and its print design unit BusterINK, have both expanded their teams of senior personnel. Buster has named Joel Lava [pictured] as motion graphics creative director and live action director. BusterINK has named Kimberly Leass as vice president of production and Josh Mintz as creative director.
Joel Lava has been named creative director/live action director at Buster and is currently working on projcets for History Channel, Ubisoft, Nickelodeon and MTV. Lava's clients have included Gatorade, Cisco, Dairy Queen, Sprint and Nike.
Kimberly Leass, as vice president of production, will oversee print campaigns and interactive campaigns. She will also manage the production team and department operations. Leass currently works with clients such as A&E, CNN, Current TV, Food Network, ABC, FEARnet, G4, NBC, Oxygen, Nickelodeon, Sony, TNT and History Channel.
Josh Mintz recently worked for bpg as senior art director and associate creative director of the print department. He has also worked for And Company as senior art director. He will be the creative director for BusterInk.
