Woodhead makes grab for Revolver
Director Leo Woodhead joins production company roster for Asian and Australian representation
Leo Woodhead has joined the list of directors at the Sydney-based production company Revolver, where he will be represented in both the Australian and Asian markets. Woodhead got his start in 2005, where a unviersity exchange to the Czech Republic led to a short film about child trafficking—funded on his student budget. The film went on to premiere at the Venice Film Festival in 2007 and was screened at Telluride, London, Melbourne, and Tribeca Film Festivals. Later ventures include commercial directing for Toyota, which picked up gold at NZ’s Axis awards, as well as My Sky and Hallestein’s mens clothing. He was also a finalist for our 2011 New Director of the Year Award. In addition to his new contract, Woodhead will stay with Thick as Thieves for representation in New Zealand.
