Glue Society's show should not be watched with Mum

With The Glue Society's new series Watch With Mother, everything you know about sketch television is about to be gutted.

The creative collective, along with production company Revolver, puts a new spin on the sketch show genre, previously only associated with silly comedy acts. Watch With Mother brings something else to the table: blood and guts. A lot of it.

The just-released trailer of the sketch horror show sets up the series in a seemingly conventional way. In a quiet suburban area, characters like the old couple next door, the ambulance man, the best friend, and the cute family dog are introduced. The trailer quickly takes a sinister turn however, as more people are impaled and skewered (and possibly eaten) within the next minute than even Hannibal Lecter could imagine.

The Glue Society is an independent creative collective whose work ranges from broadcast entertainment and graphic design to live events and installations. They are located in Sydney and New York.
