Unless you’re vegetarian or vegan, there’s a good chance you love a bit of bacon. But, the question is, would you trade your stuff – or even give a man a place to sleep – for a rasher or two?

Agency 360i and US meat company Oscar Mayer have teamed up to bring you 'The Great American Bacon Barter', a new campaign in which a man named Josh Sankey is driving across the country - from New York City to Los Angeles - with nothing but a refrigerated truck full of bacon to barter with.

Will the American public's willingness to trade see him through his journey? With no cash or credit cards, it's going to be tough and he must trade packages (or bricks) of the Butcher Thick Cut Bacon for his necessities and to make his mission a success.

Check out the dedicated website for updates here, including what Sankey is currently trying to haggle for, current wacky exchange rates (2 American football tickets = 6 bacon bricks, 1 can of beer with a koozie = .5 bacon bricks), photos from the road and where the truck will be next.
