Frieze’s Prodigy

Grant De Sousa has joined Frieze Films, the South African production company, for commercials representation. De Sousa’s first advertisement was the anti-drugs PSA There’s No Going Back, which earned him the 2007 cfp-e/shots Young Director Award at Cannes. In 2009, De Sousa won Best Overall PSA from the M-Net VUKA! Awards for The African Diamond Council spot Conflict Free. Additionally De Sousa made the top seven in Kevin Spacey’s Jameson First Shot short film competition and recently won Cinema Nouveau’s Win Your Own Film Fest competition.
