If you've been stung by international charges to your mobile phone after a trip abroad, you'll resonate with Publicis and Marcel's latest digital execution for Orange.

Created and set up to communicate that customers will no longer be hit with unexpected charges and rates whilst abroad, the agencies surprised tourists in four locations as part of  a fun caign being broadcast online.

In the first film Louvre (above), visitors to a gallery are astonished as the face in famous painting, Mona Lisa, begins to wink and smile back at them before they realise it's all a stunt.

Below, passengers wait for their luggage in the second film, Airport, and can't believe their eyes as it emerges battered and crushed on the conveyor belt. They are then reunited with their real bags as they are informed of the joke.

Two other videos, Restaurant and Beach, take the idea further and the caign was produced in collaboration with Fighting Fish and WAM.

The content, directed by Bo Platt, is being promoted on YouTube, via Orange's social network channels and is supported by web banners and print executions.
