Winners of the 20th annual Golden Drum Festival were announced at a ceremony in Slovenia on Friday night, as delegates, speakers and industry guests attended to bring the event to a close.

McCann Erickson Worldwide was named Agency Network of the Year, New Moment New Ideas Company Skopje picked up the Agency of the Year accolade and GMP Advertising is 2013’s Independent Agency of the Year.

With an initial ceremony held last Wednesday (9 October), at Golden Drum’s Final Awards Ceremony on Friday (11 October), the festival’s multi and single channel juries announced the latest winners for the event’s 20th year.

At both of last week’s ceremonies a total of 54 Silver Drums, 30 Golden Drums and 14 Grand Prix Awards were presented to the best work entered this year.

With 150 points, McCann Erickson was awarded the Golden Net award for the most successful agency network at the festival. With 86 points, the agency New Moment New Ideas Company Skopje was awarded with the Golden Rose award for the most successful agency. The Tartini Award for the most successful independent agency went to GMP Advertising, winning the award with 30 points.

The most awarded brand of the Golden Drum Festival, with 62 points collected, was Cohabitation, and picked up the Golden Drum Brand Grand Prix award.

In the category of special awards, the Golden Watch award was awarded to Dušan Drakalski, the creative director of the best Campaign of the Year, 10 metres apart.

Best Cinematography was awarded to Jure Verovsek from Slovenia, where the film was serviced through Studio Arkadena for Havas Worldwide Helsinki for the entry Monsters, directed by Mikko Lehtinen at Sauna international. Best Illustration was awarded to Marek Motalik & FURIA from Y&R Prague for entries Cockroach, Spiders and Mosquitos and Best Photography was awarded to Canda? Ar?n, Leo Burnett Istanbul for the entry Ice Cream Pocket.
