Don’t Forget to CoppaFeel this Valentine’s
Taylor James and Saatchi & Saatchi Health feel the love this Valentine’s Day with CoppaFeel!
Taylor James is supporting Saatchi & Saatchi Health in a Valentine’s Day poster campaign for breast cancer charity CoppaFeel.
The new campaign, which will run in this evening's (Friday 14 February) Metro and Evening Standard newspapers, promotes breast cancer awareness amongst women in their 20s who may not routinely check their breasts for signs of cancer.
Twin sisters Kristin and Maren Hallenga founded CoppaFeel in 2009 after Kristin was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer at just 23 years old. The charity now dedicates itself to encouraging young women to be breast-aware to ensure early diagnosis for those affected by cancer.
Creative studio Taylor James joined forces with Saatchi & Saatchi Health to create the campaign with a fun-loving feel.
“It was important for the style to capture the right tone of the campaign - it needed to have a strong and clear visual message, but in a style that wasn't crude or offensive,” explains Brendan Haley, executive creative director at Taylor James.
An in-house illustrator then worked with Haley and Saatchi Health to develop the cheerful, Valentine’s-themed ‘breast-heart’ design.
Raahkee Thompson, general manager at Saatchi & Saatchi Health, adds: “The work that Kris and Maren do is just inspiring and we are happy to be able to help them promote their very worthy cause.”
So no excuses, feel the love this Valentine’s Day and don’t forget to CoppaFeel!
