Karolina Bozajkovska is senior experiential content broadcast producer at WhybinTBWA Melbourne.

Here she tells us about her inspirations - including favourite apps, interests and top TV - as well as revealing what makes her tick at work and ways the industry could improve.

What’s the best ad campaign you’ve seen recently?

Bud Light, Ian Up For Whatever. My favourite part is the end scrolling titles and the voiceover – laughs win every time.

What website(s) do you use most regularly and why?

For work, I look at production company websites quite regularly. I try and keep up with what directors are doing and who is responsible for the work we are seeing.

Personally though I love Matches, Largaconne and Net-a-Porter – I’m often inspired by fashion amongst other things such as culture/art/music and I also read Broadsheet, a Melbourne-based culture guide. I also contribute to Instagram and Google everything.

What’s the most recent piece of tech you’ve bought and why?

My iPhone 5, because it does everything.

Facebook or Twitter?

Facebook

What’s your favourite app on your phone and why?

Spotify; I love music.

What’s your favourite TV show and why?

Girls, because I love Lena Dunhum, I think she is inspiring for young women and a go-getter. The show offers a mixture of really amazing talent and awesome writing.

What film do you think everyone should have seen?

The Breakfast Club.

Where were you when inspiration last struck?

In my bedroom looking at Instagram. I saw Kate Moss in her amazing green tropical floral boiler suit at the Top Shop Fashion show, so… I have one now.

What’s the most significant change you’ve witnessed in the industry since you started working in it?

Digital and shooting on HD.

If there was one thing you could change about the advertising industry, what would it be?

I love the buzz of a vibrant agency, an agency that is not afraid to push boundaries and the creative. Sometimes though big egos can be difficult to deal with and sometimes you feel like screaming that we aren’t saving lives, no one will die if this doesn’t happen right now. So I guess some attitudes can really stink. I also think producers should get more credit for the work they pull together.

What or who has most influenced your career and why?

I wouldn’t say one person in particular, I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people over the years; women and men, other agency producers, production producers, directors, creative directors and creatives. I have been inspired by all of them in one way or another and have been able to learn from them. I feel really lucky to have been exposed to some incredible work, too.

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know…

I have a webbed toe. But don’t knock it, I can swim really fast!
