The Alliance for Cancer Research (APREC) in France has called upon a global superstar for a helping hand in raising its profile.

The one and only Kylie Minogue is playing a central role in the charity’s latest campaign, One Note Against Cancer.

Working with agency Publicis Conseil, the association has come up with an original idea, which is the first of its kind in the advertising world.

Fans of Minogue, who sponsors APREC, are being invited to each purchase an individual note in the music artist’s new song, Crystallize.

It is the first time in history that each note of a song acts as an individual appeal for donations, and the tune was written by Minogue especially for the campaign – making it a really special and unique experience for music fans and charity supporters alike.

Internet users are urged to visit a dedicated website where they can watch a video of the song and put in a bid for one of its 4,408 notes through eBay.

Once all notes have been sold, the song Crystallise will be officially released and all profits generated from its sales will be donated to APREC.

The lucky winners of the musical notes will not only bag themselves a note of Minogue’s music, but will also have their name credited in the official music video and receive a certificate of ownership.

If you’re a fan of the Aussie songstress and can’t get this idea out of your head, head over to onenoteagainstcancer.com and place your bid now.
