New Zealand advertising agency DDB has appointed Damon Stapleton to the newly-created role of chief creative officer. Stapleton has won over 100 major awards during his career including a Cannes Grand Prix, a Grand Clio, an ADC Black Cube, a D&AD Black Pencil and first place on the All Guns Blazing list in the Gunn Report. In his new role Stapleton will be reuniting with ECD Shane Bradnick, whom he has known since before they both worked in advertising. Stapleton has previously worked on brands including Heineken, Nissan, BMW, adidas, Jameson, Toyota and Cadbury. Stapleton will begin his new role on Tuesday 1 July 2014 and will work closely with Bradnick across the entire DDB client portfolio.
