US-production company Green Dot Films has announced the signing of Icelandic director Rúnar Ingi for his first-ever US commercial representation deal. Ingi began directing in the 90s at the age of just 13 shooting family dramas and East vs. West Coast hip-hop shorts. It wasn’t long before the director found work at a commercial production company shooting music videos for local artists. Since then Ingi has helmed spots for brands including Nike & Ossur, Prince Polo and the Icelandic Lotto. He is also represented by Camp David Film in Sweden, Big Productions in France and Pegasus in his native Iceland.
