Los Angeles-based production company The Cavalry has announced the signing of director Stephen Schuster for commercial representation. Schuster originally went to college to study illustration and painting but soon, after seeing the title design to the movie Seven, decided to move into motion driven design. Schuster helped to start Prologue with Kyle Cooper, serving as creative director his early work included animation and graphic design typography for commercials, digital photography campaigns, and a multitude of film titles such as Dawn of the Dead, Spider-Man 2 and Superman Returns. In 2006 he left Prologue to focus on directing and since then has worked on several projects including live action/CG bumpers of the SciFi Channel and a documentary about Alice in Chains.
