Powell wins promotion

London-based advertising agency Havas Worldwide has announced the promotion of former TV producer Lucy Powell to become the new head of film. Powell, who has been with the agency since 2013, replaces Leila Bartlam who is leaving the agency to join Iris Worldwide. Prior to joining Havas, Powell spent time at JWT and before that BBH. In her new role Powell will report to chief executive Russ Lidstone, and lead a 20 strong film and content production team working closely with the executive creative director Mark Fairbanks.
