Advertising agency Y&R New York has announced that Leslie Sims has been named chief creative officer of Y&R New York. Sims succeeds Jim Elliott, who has served as CCO for the past three years. In her new role Sims will drive the creative vision of the New York agency, leading creative teams for clients including Land Rover, Dell, Campbell’s Soup Company, Xerox, Special Olympics and Partnership for a Healthier America. Sims joins Y&R from a 15-year stint at McCann Erickson where she worked with clients including USPS, Nature Valley and other General Mills brands.
