It's the second day of Advertising Week Europe in London and Tuesday's agenda includes a host of strong, successful women including model, author and reality TV star, Katie Price; the McDonald's CEO who has just announced a move to Halfords, Jill McDonald; and BBC Radio 1 DJ, Annie Mac.

To round off the day of seminars and continue the celebration of female talent, Cosmopolitan will host a special session this evening to honour some of the most influential figures of the past year.

Ogilvy & Mather Group UK CEO Annette King will be one of the three recognised as the icons of the advertsing industry in 2015 (along with Syl Saller, CMO Diageo, and Tracy De Goose, Dentsu Aegis Network UK CEO), and here King tells us about some of her interests and things that complete her life today.

What’s the best ad campaign you’ve seen recently?

Always Like a Girl.

What website do you use most regularly and why?

Amazon, at least three or four times a week. Because I run our lives with it.

What’s the most recent piece of tech that you’ve bought and why?

A PS4 for my son.

Facebook, Instagram or Twitter?

Twitter.

What’s your favourite app on your phone and why?

BBC News because I don’t have time to read newspapers.

What’s your favourite TV show and why?

The Graham Norton Show, because he is a genius who clearly enjoys his job more than anyone else in the world.

What film do you think everyone should have seen?

Boyhood. It’s an amazing achievement. And it should have won the Oscar.

Where were you when inspiration last struck?

In a pitch war room, luckily.

What’s the most significant change you’ve witnessed in the industry since you started working in it?

How much more we have to know these days.

If there was one thing you could change about the industry, what would it be?

Increased diversity.

How does it feel to have received the recognition from Hearst’s Empowering Women initiative at Advertising Week?

Humbling and brilliant.

What or who has most influenced your career and why?

Living and working in New York for five years in my late 20s.

Tell us one thing about yourself that most people won’t know…

I’m about to build a sustainable house in Umbria, Italy, that I will go to to paint.
