London-based advertising agency Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R has signed youth activist Chris Preddie OBE to work alongside the agency’s planning team. Preddie set up the company Make Dreams Reality (MDR) in order to mentor disadvantaged young people and help them avoid taking the wrong paths in life. In doing so he became the youngest person to be honoured with an OBE. He will not be a staff member but will act as a consultant working on client projects and agency research schemes, such as its Agency Youth Insights project.
