Towse heads to the Station

Bi-coastal production company Station Film has hired Michelle Towse as executive producer, to be based in New York.

Towse was previously a freelance line producer, working with the likes of David Gray, Scott Corbett and Mark Gilbert. Prior to this, she was head of production at Slavin Schaffer Films and a line producer at HSI, MJZ and hungry man. Towse actually began her career working in photography – beginning in the dark room, before accelerating to studio manager, freelance photo assistant and production coordinator for Unzipped, the documentary.

Before becoming a film producer, Towse worked with fashion photographer Jamie Phillips, rock photographer Danny Clinch and famed portrait photographer Annie Liebovitz, printing her photos from the Clinton Inauguration, coverage of Sarajevo and celebrity shoots, including Harrison Ford, Paul Michael Glaser and Evander Holyfield.
