As the month of December creeps forward, it divides people into either one of two camps – those that love Christmas and those that hate it.

While children generally love the festive season, there are some adults who remain stiff-lipped and bitter at the idea of celebrating the nation’s traditional holiday.

But perhaps, who can blame them? It’s an expensive time of year, filled with stressful present buying, little sleep and lots of entertaining.

And kids – bless their little hearts – have an unlimited pool of energy to dip into, so at some point during the holidays, it’s only natural that there will be a conflict of interests.

Global creative agency evidently has seemingly come up with a solution.

Come Christmas day – rather than wake up at the crack of dawn, at 5.30am – the agency has devised a dare-I-say masterplan to keep kids occupied until a more civilised hour.

Introducing: Santa’s extra 45 mins sleep kit.

The downloadable kit – available here – contains five secret missions to keep children quietly busy on the big day.

All of the letters in the pack have been signed by the main man himself and posted from the North Pole via Santa’s Express.

Sleep masks and do-not-disturb signs are also included allowing ‘weaker’ family members to join in, without actually participating. And gives them a suggested extra 45 minutes in bed.

I hate to spoil the mysteries of the missions, but be warned: mission five (below) gives kids permission to jump on their parent’s beds and make as much noise until they wake up.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you – for more information, visit the website.
