Fashion and style icon, Iris Apfel, doesn't live by any rules and prefers not to follow trends, as she says in this colourful spot to promote the new Citroën DS 3.

Created by Publicis La Maison, the spot sees the the 94-year-old fashionista explain how someone once told her she'd never be pretty, but it's okay, because she made up for it with style.

The campaign links her bold and confident nature with the car, which offers 78 body/roof colour combinations and over three million customisable options, including rear-view mirror housings, dashboard, gear knob, wheels and trim, allowing everyone to make their own personal statement.

Jeremie Rozan directed the ad with production from Standard.
