Sony Pictures unveils Picture This festival
Short film festival shares international stories about preserving the environment.
Picture This festival – an initiative from Sony Pictures Television’s Networks – celebrates and distributes stories about the protection and preservation of the environment.
Short videos under seven minutes will be selected from around the world with each Sony network group accepting regional entries, which will then be judged by a panel of local experts.
Each regional winner will be flown to LA ahead of the October event, where a grand prize winner will be chosen and awarded based on the strength of their storytelling and how they chose to respond to the brief, Picture This campaign: Picture a Better World.
“We are now inviting creators everywhere to tell the stories of a better world, because the best stories are more than entertaining, they also motivate people to action,” says Sony’s worldwide network president Andy Kaplan.
The overall winner will win $5,000 and a Sony 4K package that includes a 4K TV and a Sony Alpha a6300 Mirrorless Camera. To find out more or to enter, click here.
