Montiel wins promotion

London-based post production and VFX studio The Mill has announced the promotion of former head of animation Jorge Montiel to creative director. Montiel joined the company in 2012 and was a driving force in the creation of ground-breaking work including the multi-award winning SSE campaigns Maya and Pier, Audi Hummingbird, and Smithwicks Squirrel. In his new role he will adopt a broader influence across The Mill’s creative output whilst still remaining dedicated to the continued excellence of the animation team.
