New York-based creative production company Derby has signed award-winning director Josh Hayward to its directorial roster. During his career, the director has helmed work for brands including the Air Force, LL Bean, Philips, HTC, BMW and more. Hayward is also the filmmaker behind documentary, A Girl’s Life, about Nairobi’s poor urban population that was featured recently in The New York Times. Prior to Derby, Hayward spent five years at Digital Kitchen as a creative and live-action director. To date, his work has been recognized by various industry awards, including Cannes Lions, The One Show, Communication Arts and The FWA.
