Y&R North America has hired João Coutinho as executive creative director.
Coutinho will report to the agency's North America CCO Leslie Sims, who is very excited to have Coutinho on board and overseeing the key accounts and scouring new business opportunities.
He arrives from Grey where he was group creative director, working across the Volvo, Canon and P&G accounts among others.
Although he is originally from Portugal, Coutinho has worked in numerous countries including Portugal, Spain, Brazil and the US.
