Technology and nature come together to create a living, breathing garden in a mesmerising film from Spanish directing collective Dvein.

Entitled All Things Beautiful Come From Nature, the film is part of a huge global campaign created by W+K Tokyo to promote a new skincare line from Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido.

Aimed at millennials, the WASO range is based on the principles of washoku (minimal, natural ingredients), which the directing duo sought to mirror in the spot. With the help of expert botanists, Dvein created a suspended garden installation, filming the plants' growth over several months and using a combination of in-camera robotics and CGI - a painstaking process you can explore in depth via the making-of film, below.

The campaign also includes visuals shot by Viviane Sassen, featuring influencers from the worlds of skateboarding, music, fashion and transgender activism.

Two further films, directed by Kanye West collaborator Julian Klincewicz, are slated for release in September.
