Anna Wintour Leads Adweek 2017 Brand Genius Awards
The Vogue editor will be named Brand Visionary in the awards on October 18.
In the same year she was made a Dame, Anna Wintour continues raking in prestigious lifetime achievements awards with the news that she will be named Brand Visionary at this year's Adweek Brand Genius Awards.
The infamous editor, who will next year be celebrating her 30th year at the head of US Vogue, will be joining a varied list of previous winners who include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Arianna Huffington and Bono. That's a dinner party we'd love to see.
Alongside this award, Adweek will also be naming 10 people from 10 companies as 'brand geniuses', in recognition of their work on the most inventive, ambitious and successful brand-building efforts across 10 categories. These are:
Automotive: Subaru of America, Alan Bethke, VP of marketing

Technology: IBM, Jon Iwata, SVP, chief brand officer
Luxury: Coach, Victor Luis, CEO
Home: Casper, Luke Sherwin, co-founder and chief creative officer

Also due to win an award is DonorsChoose.org, which is to be named the winner of the 2017 Brand Save award for its "excellence, innovation and ingenuity to cause marketing and the world of charities" according to an Adweek spokesperson.
