Burger Films sign Jim Field Smith

London based-production company Burger Films has signed BAFTA and Golden Globe nominated comedy director Jim Field Smith to its roster. 

Filed Smith joins from RSA, where he directed leading work for several clients.

He began his career as part of the sketch group Dutch Elm Conservatoire, before turning to writing and directing. Field Smith has helmed a number of long-form pieces, such as Butte and She’s Out of my League, as well as worked on numerous TV projects like The Wrong Mans and Episodes.
