Droga5 Names First Ever Chief Design Officer
Jason Severs severs ties with Verizon to take on the brand new Droga role.
Jason Severs, previously of Verizon and frog design has joined Droga5 in New York in the role of their first ever chief design officer.
"As the agency grows its offerings, capabilities and client roster, Jason will create a multifaceted practice by helping extend Droga5’s creative and strategy into relevant and engaging brand experiences for existing and future clients," said a Droga5 spokesperson.
Prior to taking on this role, Severs has 20 years in the design business. Most recently, he was director of experience design & strategic initiatives at Verizon, and prior to that he spent 11 years at frog, working as executive creative director and leading work for brands including American Express, United Nations, Google and Under Armour.
Severs said of his new appointment, “creative agencies such as Droga5 are looking to increase their impact on clients’ businesses with communications and content designed for engagement. I’m excited to join the team at Droga5 and look forward to building.”
