Bowen heads to 1stAveMachine
Comedy director signs with mixed media production company and storytelling studio.
Mixed media production company and storytelling outfit, 1stAveMachine, has just signed director Stuart Bowen for commercial representation.
Having cut his creative teeth editing with the likes of Baz Lurhmann and Michael Gracey, Bowen branched out into directing with the short film Woody. In 2014, his second short Twisted came third at Australian short film festival, Tropfest. His commercial reel includes spots for brands such as AHM and Toohey's Extra Dry.
"Stuart and I have been friends and colleagues for such a long time that it was just a natural step for him to join our roster," says Isabella Parish, MD, 1stAveMachine. "I love his work, his natural comedic talent and his story telling through great performances and great editing."
