Icelandic director Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson signs to The Sweet Shop for international representation.

Gudmundsson graduated from the Icelandic Art Academy in Fine Art, before moving to Denmark and studying screenwriting. He has since created the short, Whale Valley, and his first feature, Heartstone, both of which have been selected at more than 200 festivals and won over 100 international awards.

“[Gudmundur] shows a very strong voice in his work – it affects the heart and its vulnerability leaves a lasting impression,” says the Sweet Shop’s CEO and founding partner, Paul Prince
