World Media Group has announced that the deadline for its upcoming World Media Awards (WMAs) has been extended by a week to Feb 1.
The WMAs is celebrating its third year in 2018, awarding cross platform, cross border, content-driven advertising. The winning campaigns will also be featured in a global ad campaign valued at €500k, due to run across World Media Group member publications, like Bloomberg Media Group.
This year’s show contains eight award categories with one Grand Prix to be selected by the jury (find out who it's made up of here) among all the category winners.
This will be the second year that The Washington Post’s International Sales Director, Emma Winchurch-Beale, will assume the position of Group Vice president. She is also welcoming The Economist’s SVP Head of Sales and Client Services, EMEA, Alexandra Delamain and National Geographic’s Global Brand Director, Stephen Murphy, as additional VPs for World Media Group.
The WMAs will take place this year at London’s Ham Yard Hotel March 22. Don’t miss out; get your free entry in before the deadline by clicking here, and donations to Reporters Without Borders are welcomed by entrants.
World Media Group is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, which it will acknowledge with a July event. To mark the occasion, ad tech firms Rezonence and Smartology, and media owner The Smithsonian, will become the Group’s first associate members, beyond the Group’s affiliated global media brands. This partnership has affected the Group’s membership policy.
