72andSunny Amsterdam hires nine
Following its mission to expand and diversify, 72andSunny Amsterdam hires nine new international creatives.
72andSunny Amsterdam has broadened its Brand, Creative, Strategy and Experience Design departments by making nine international hires from Sweden, Brazil, India, Singapore, the US, Australia and the UK.
Adam Coppel joins the LA office as the new creative director. He has worked on projects with brands such as Google and Starbucks, but he is most proud of his project with Nike titled The Nagoya Women’s Marathon which observes three women who did not finish the marathon.
Creative director Anders Stake, a graphic designer form Sweden, also joins the team following work on Nike's Smile campaign.
Digital designer Matt Firth also joins the creative team, following over 15 years' worth of industry experience including creating work for the likes of Google and eBay.
Mareka Stake has also joined as a senior writer, bringing with her 15 years of experience in film, print and radio, Stake has delivered award-winning work to brands such as adidas, Barclays and The Guardian.
Fernando Ribeiro has been hired as the company's strategy director. Originally from Brazil, he has worked all over the world for agencies like BBH London, DAVID and W/McCann.
Vivek Krishnaswamy joins as 72andSunny's brand director. Originally from Southern India, he has worked at Leo Burnett India, Wieden+Kennedy and BBH, and now lives in Amsterdam where he works on the Uber account.
Australian-born Laura Portelli is the company's new group brand director. She has previously worked with brands like Nike, Google, Eurostar and H&M, and is a firm believer in the beneficial cultural impacts of advertising.
EP Kerli Teo, originally from Singapore, also joins. She has travelled all over the world before arriving to Amsterdam, where she's been enlisted to work with Samsung, Nike, Coca-Cola, Beats by Dre, Converse, Fiat, Chrysler and Heineken.
And Mark Jenkins has been hired as the agency's experiential design director. Jenkins has worked in UX/UI and experience design, for brands like The National Lottery, Hyundai, Time Out London & International, The Guardian and The Virgin Group.
Partner and managing director Nic Owen is very hopeful about the future of 72andSunny Amsterdam and the work that these new creatives can do for the company.
