A Day in the Life of Moe Jawhar
Sheikhs, fast cars, sunsets & pancakes: the ECD for Serviceplan Group Middle East shares his Dubai Lynx experience.
.00: Had a rough night of sleep, not only am I nervous about today, this did not make it any easier...
00 I hate it when I order a healthy breakfast and I get this instead! Well, not my fault, I guess I’ll just have to eat it. Better do it quickly though, long day today.
.00: Here we are! Dubai Lynx! Love that sometimes a logo is enough to say everything. I love Ghostbusters.
.00: “Stop ordering pancakes for breakfast”.
.00: I really wanted to show you around more, but I spent the first two hours shaking hands and having awkward unsuccessful high-fives. And now that I have to go to the toilet, I realise that the ladies' icon looks like Darth Vader.
.45: My speech will start in 15 minutes, and the room looks kind of empty. Also I've forgotten everything I rehearsed.
.30: Okay, I know I didn’t take this photo myself, but how cool do I look. Also this guy is not on his phone, he’s just writing notes.
.45: It went well and I think I deserve a drink now! Maybe some more awkward fist bumps and badly-executed high fives..
.20: That’s it! A good day all in all, and what better way to end it than with a shot of all the stereotypes you can think of when you think about Dubai.
.40: Thank you and good night! *romantic music – roll credits*
